Nifty closes below 10,655 for the second consecutive day
In the second trading day of the week, the Indian stock market declined again once again. On Tuesday, the Sensex dropped 64.20 points to 35,592.50 and the Nifty slipped 9.35 points to close at 10,652.20. Earlier, during the business, the Sensex broke 230 points. On Monday, the Sensex dropped 368.84 points to 35,656.70 and the Nifty fell 119.00 points to close at 10,661.55.

HDFC gets net profits of Rs 2,113 crore
In the third quarter of the current financial year, the home finance sector company HDFC Ltd Has earned a net profit of Rs 2,113.80 crore. The company had earned a net profit of Rs 5,300 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Escorts, an agricultural equipment and engineering company, has earned a net profit of Rs 140.11 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year. During the quarter, the company’s tractor sales increased 36 percent to 25,743 units.
Rupee drops 12 paise against dollar
Rupee was 12 paise lower than the dollar on Tuesday. The rupee opened at 71.22 per dollar, due to the strengthening of the US dollar and the rise in crude oil prices. The rupee closed at 71.10 per dollar on Monday.
